I heard this situation on the radio this morning and it has been in the back of my mind all day. I was listening to Power 96 this morning and they have a part of the show called “Busted” where a mate normally is suspects their spouse of cheating and they try to catch them. Anyway the situation this morning was an ex stripper got a phone call from a friend who says she had seen her boyfriend’s car pull up in some motel and apparently the area where the motel is located is known where men take women they find on the streets aka prostitutes, strippers, escorts, etc

Moving on, someone from the radio station called the strippers boyfriend acting like the manager at the hotel and said the room was damaged and he needed to pay (meanwhile the stripper is on the phone listening) and the guy says nothing was broken (admitting he was there). So the girlfriend comes on the phone and she says “I quit my career for you” I started cracking up laughing. You were a dang stripper what kind of career did you have. I guess it just makes me angry because the way she sounded the guy told her not to strip anymore and he will take care of her. HELLO!!! If is going to strip clubs in the first place don’t you think he is telling other women that same line as well?? Its like I don’t get how some women think..If you met a man while he was married or in a relationship what makes you think he won’t do the same thing to you? Are women really that naive? Everyone hopes for the best and swears they can change people but they can’t unfortunately.

Another pet peeve of mine is multiple baby daddies. I understand that there is no happily ever after anymore and people are having sex at age 12 but if your 30 with 6 kids and 5 different baby daddies what does that say about you? It does not make you look all that good and its just disgusting to me. I also understand that some people do not believe in abortion but if you know you like to sleep around wear CONDOMS take BIRTH CONTROL why keep bringing kids in this world who can barely get taken care of by both parents. It’s like people rush into relationships so fast now and I don’t get what changed in the world. I had a friend who moved her boyfriend in after 1 month!! I know all situations are different but there is no woman or man that can say its okay to live together after 30 days of knowing someone. What about having a baby with someone after 3 months of knowing them? It’s like wow what are people doing now a days..

Every day we hear about someone cheating on someone or something. But everyone has their own opinion of cheating. Also there are different types of cheating. It could be emotionally, mentally, or physically. The latest one I heard on the radio recently was a woman called in to see if her boyfriend was cheating on her with her best friend. I assume that the best friend was a woman but wrong it was with another male! SICK! Well at least in my opinion. So is it cheating if its with the same sex? It’s a double standard. If I had a boyfriend cheating on me with another dude I would feel totally disgusted. Just writing about it makes me sick right now. On the other hand if a guy had a girlfriend and she was caught cheating with another girl I don’t think its bad at all. Most guys dream about 2 girls anyway and society accepts two girls more often than two guys. It is still cheating but I do not think it is as extreme as other situations.

Is there a definition of cheating? Hold on let me Google it. According to Wikipedia, with regard to human relationships, couples tend to expect sexual monogamy of each other. If so, then cheating commonly refers to forms of infidelity, particularly adultery. However, there are other divisions of infidelity, which may be emotional.  So it seems like that only if one participates in a sexual manner with someone else it will be considered cheating. But what about kissing? It is not sexually but is it still cheating? I don’t think I ever believed in movies when people would try to get out of it by saying “he kissed me, I didn’t kiss him” both lips are touching so yeah you did kiss him or her. Whether or not if it was intentionally is a different story. Since in human relationships monogamy a relationship would consist of 2 people. Going outside of the other person and getting another person would than consist of cheating.

Women tend to be hurt more by cheating because of emotions. They are emotionally into that person and very sensitive. They have someone that they do not want to share and if your in a relationship they should not be any sharing going on.  Some people do take it to another level in my opinion. I do also think that just because you may think of someone in a different way but do not act on it is innocent. For example, if I am in a committed relationship with someone but there is a guy at my job or school who I happen to think is attractive I think that is normal. Now if I put myself in the situation of perhaps going to lunch with this person, talking to them outside of work or school I am setting myself up which can possibly lead to something that I intended to do.

When your boyfriend or girlfriend goes out of town and you invite someone over to “hang out” and then something happens you know in the back of your mind what your intentions was. I hate when women stay in denial and be like we were just talking and one thing lead to another. BULLSHIT! Once you already have in your mind to act on something there is no stopping in someone. They are going to cheat.

ONCE A CHEATER ALWAYS A CHEATER……well maybe…someone prove me wrong!

1. Avoid talking about Exes. It doesn’t matter if its yours,or his there is no reason to bring them up on a first date. Do you really want him thinking about his ex while on a date with you? There is a reason why they are called Exes. Don’t give a him a reason to compare you with her.

2. Leave religion alone for now. For some it a serious topic and when you first meet someone you don’t want to make anything at all serious before you truly get to know them. It could lead to arguing and debating especially if you two have different religious backgrounds.

3. Politics! Just like religion politics is serious to some. Your political party really only matters every 4 years. So not unless an election is coming up don’t bring it up. Obviously people have different outlooks on certain topics and when you add politics it never comes out good!

4. Crazy Family! If you know that someone in your family is crazy (literally) or an alcoholic or something that could cause drama later, don’t try to scare the guy away by telling him all the stories now. Let him get to know you for you and understand the family later. And don’t bring up that your Uncle Dan is in prison for killing someone either..

5. Background Check! If you have a background history that isn’t too pleasant don’t bring it up right away. Don’t lie about it either. If you went to jail for stalking an ex, keep it to yourself. You don’t want him to think your following his every move especially when you first met.

6. Future! Don’t try to include him in future plans. You just met. Even though you may have thought you hit it off don’t start planning any weekend getaways just yet. Don’t come off as desperate so soon!

7. Don’t bore him! If he tells you that he watches ESPN all day. Just because you don’t, don’t try to change the subject to a best selling author. Find something that you both can relate on.

I am 24 and I have been single for the last year and a half after getting out of a 4 year relationship. I live in Miami. I have my own apartment but in my opinion I just can’t find anyone to meet my needs. I think I have grown since my past relationship and I have higher standards for myself but it is just funny the guys that come and approach me. I don’t believe that I should stoop down to someone else’s level to make myself happy. I don’t think I am completely bad but I went to grab lunch and as I was getting into my car some guy at a bus stop was trying to talk to me. I was polite but really? Am I really going to have to come pick you up all the time because you don’t have a car because of whatever reason.

I just want to meet new people and find some interesting people. I live in Miami and it seems like I am coming across nothing but losers.  I am not expecting the next guy I meet to be prince charming and for me to marry but I would like to find someone decent and it seems like that is hard to find. It just seems like to me that guys aren’t like they use to be before. When I do meet a new guy it’s like the only want sex and relationship is not even in their vocabulary. What happened to going on dates and getting to know someone, trying to make a girl laugh? I guess the bad boy era took over and I either have to deal with it or find someone who is hiding underneath a tree!

Before I go to work each morning I watch Maury if I get a chance. It amazes me (if it is real) what some people go through in a relationship. There are all these stories about men beating up women and yet the women still stay with these men. Why??  I don’t know where it started that men shouldn’t beat on women but it is not a right thing to do. Some men always want to be in control have that power over someone else. Females tend to believe that men are always right and whatever they are doing is right because they are “protecting” them. It’s not common anymore but back in the day men were the ones to did everything for the household while the woman stays home and tends to the house and kids.

It seems like domestic violence has increased over the years and some continue to live with it. I think as times change so does people. According to Wikipedia,  studies that find that women abuse men equally or even more than men abuse women. As a woman I do understand that we tend to be more sarcastic, have more emotion and tend to build situations more than it should be. But what exactly is considered as abuse? Is it different when a man slaps a woman compared to getting punched? Sometimes a man might slap a woman to calm her down but is that wrong?

In any situation domestic violence should be not be tolerated. In a relationship there will be disagreements and confrontations but it can all be easily avoided. Go into separate rooms and calm down before speaking to each other. Perhaps one person can go out for a drive around the block to gather thoughts. It is not right any situation to beat a woman where she is left with scars or mark or even bruises. Some men grow up without a man in their life and find it hard because they are not sure how to react in situations and the best way known to them is to fight. But if you or someone you know is going through  domestic violence don’t stand for it at all and get out of the situation!

So I am at work and my crazy friend “geilt” is making me listen to this song by La Roux-I’m not your toy. I was listening to the song and it does kind of make sense. The song talks about that “love is like a stubborn youth…you don’t want me you just like the attention”. I am thinking to myself hmm that is true for some people. Some people grow up without that relationship from their parents and something is always missing inside of them.

As a person who never had the attention when they finally receive it they like it because it is something they are not used to. It is more like  false love because you don’t really like the person instead you like the attention that you are receiving from another person that you are not accustomed too.

Everyone likes attention, some more than others but in our every day lives whether it is a family relationship or an intimate relationship everyone should get some type of attention.
